UMW Toyota seeks young talents

UMW Toyota has launched its annual Dream Car Art Contest from now until 15 February 2013 aimed to challenge the imagination of children through drawing and colouring the car of their dreams.

Senior marketing manager Mandy Phang said, the annual theme of ‘Dream Car’ is intended to help children develop on interest in cars and help them feel the joy and importance of having a dream through drawing.

“This contest will also inspire children’s creative passion, new ideas to draw the truly practical, meaningful cars for the present and the future – a safe car for a safer and better society in the future,” said Datuk Ismet Suki, president of UMW Toyota Motor.

The contest is expected to garner approximately 100 entries from children aged nine to 15. The winning artwork will be selected to represent Malaysia in the World Contest stage.

The contest is promoted on Facebook, official website, showrooms, service centres and selected schools.

The Toyota Dream Car Art contest is a based on the global concept by TMC and locally adapted by digital agency Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid.
