Twitter and Zalora get together for weekend long campaign

Over the weekend, Twitter and Zalora partnered up to introduce Zalora’s holiday collection during its biggest sale this year on 12/12 via Twitter’s Video App Card.Zalora was the first brand to feature Twitter’s Video App Card in the region. The Video App Card is designed to show people a preview of the brand’s app or app content, resulting in more relevant engagement for users and more qualified app installs for brands.As part of the campaign, Zalora also rewarded Twitter users in Southeast Asia with an exclusive Twitter voucher code to use on online shopping day, 12/12. The campaign began on 10 of December in Indonesia and the 12 of December in Singapore for both the exclusive voucher code TWEETZALORA and Video App Card promotion and the voucher was valid for use on 12/12 only.“e-commerce and social media works in parallel. Twitter is where consumers look for ideas while shopping and discover more options for purchase,” Delilah Chan, head of business, Singapore and SEA emerging markets, at Twitter said. “We are pleased to work with Zalora on exclusive Twitter content that engages their audience and drives business outcomes.”“Zalora is always thinking about innovation including different ways to reach out and engage our consumers. Our decision to partner with Twitter for 12/12 Online Fever, the region’s biggest sale event, in using their latest platform is a great example of finding new ways to entice consumers. We see video as a critical component in engaging today’s consumers,” Tito Costa, regional managing director, Zalora Group said.
