Communications agency Touch PR & Events has announced two senior hires. Lynnette Kan is is now general manager and Ujwal Sharma has come on board as senior account manager. They will both report directly to managing director, Eileen Wee.
Kan brings more than 15 yearsâ€™ experience in professional in-house marketing communications, public relations, and events management. She had begun her career in agency account servicing before joining print media owner SPH, and subsequently spent time heading communications teams for consumer marketing in FMCG electronics retail and various MNCs in luxury beauty retail. Kan has also worked in leadership roles in indirect procurement for six years and was business partner in HR Retail in Lâ€™Oreal Singapore for the recent three years, prior to joining Touch PR & Events.
In her new role, Kan will support Wee to drive business and stakeholder engagement for both local and regional clients. She will also lead the agency in its human resources for talent development, employee engagement and operational goals.
Sharma brings with her more than five years of global agency experience. She has worked across global, regional and local accounts across Corporate, Consumer, Technology, Retail, Healthcare and Digital. She will be leading her team to excellence and unwavering client service and will bring to Touch PR her seasoned approach of critical reasoning to challenge the status quo.
