Top 10 most mobile ready brands in APAC

Expedia has been named the most “mobile ready” brand in the APAC region. Coming in second place is Airbnb followed by tech giants such as Amazon and Microsoft. Brands familiar to the Southeast Asia market also made the cut, with Lazada coming in seventh place and Singapore Airlines coming in ninth.This was according to an MDEX global study developed by IPG Mediabrand’s Ansible in partnership with YouGov. The study was also powered by Google Tools and ranked the region’s most “mobile ready” brands. This saw 1,350 brands surveyed across 12 APAC markets including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.Here are the top 10 brands in the APAC region:1. TwitterOn a global level, the study was conducted across four global regions and 15 major markets. This includes over 2,000 brands surveyed across Argentina, Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Germany, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, United States, United Kingdom and Uruguay. It was originally launched at Mobile World Congress in February 2017.Here are the top 10 “mobile ready” brands globally: 1. Target 2. Amazon 3. Expedia 4. Airbnb 5. Microsoft 6. Agoda 7. Lazada 8. Vodafone 9. Adidas 10. NetflixAccording to the study, global brands were defined by were defined by large, multinationals that had at least some presence in multiple key markets. Meanwhile, brands which were market-specific were smaller brands which are present in a single market.
