Thrill unveils new logo and on air look

Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment, has unveiled a new look for Thrill, Asia’s regional channel dedicated to the genres of horror, thrillers, and suspense. The new look includes an updated logo as well as a sleek and scary new on-air presentation package. Created by its in-house on-air production team, the new package is inspired by pulsating blood vessels pumping blood to an eye ball. The logo has also been updated with cleaner lines and a sharp edge at the bottom of each letter, mimicking a killer's knife. To kick off the new look, Thrill will be showcasing a slate of the latest Asian horror movies with its third annual Asian Fear Fest. Launched in 2012, Asian Fear Fest features eight tales of terror from across Asia guaranteed to make you scream. First and exclusive titles featured in this year's festival include: the award-winning film Kala directed by acclaimed Indonesian filmmaker Joko Anwar; The House That Never Dies, just released theatrically in July and the highest-grossing horror movie of all time at the Chinese box office; and Raaz 3, the third and most successful film of the famous Bollywood horror franchise.Besides Asian Fear Fest, Thrill will also exclusively premiere Rosemary's Baby, a four part miniseries based on Ira Levin's best-selling novel, in November. Starring blockbuster movie actress Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar, Star Trek), the miniseries, shown on NBC in the U.S., will be paired with Roman Polanski's iconic movie of the same name in a special thematic called "Fear is Born."Thrill is currently available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.Source: Press release
