Thomas Mouritzen exits OgilvyOne

OgilvyOne's Thomas Mouritzen is leaving the agency for Accenture.Mourtizen's last role at the agency was managing director, enterprise marketing, Asia Pacific. His duties are being redistributed within the team and no single replacement has been named as of yet. Ogilvy confirmed the departure to Marketing, wishing Mouritzen the best for his future.Mouritzen also held the role of MD with the agency for over four years and has been with the OgilvyOne Singapore team since 2003.In late 2012, Mouritzen was tasked to take on the development of a “new important strategic initiative for the region” as the OgilvyOne grew considerably and developed new areas of expertise including Social CRM, data and technology under Mouritzen’s leadership.Prior to the role of MD he was regional consultant, head of OgilvyBusiness.In another development, the agency appointed Paul Hourihane to the role of regional vice president, Data Services Asia Pacific at Ogilvy One Worldwide. Hourihane joined the agency in January this year and was previously, the CEO of Go React.  Go React was subsequently acquired by Digital Alchemy an Asia Pacific database marketing service provider.Accenture could not be reached for more details on Mouritzen's new role at the time of writing.
