Text100 Malaysia names Joos Khor creative director

Text100 Malaysia has appointed Joos Khor (pictured) as creative director, tasked with overseeing its creative processes and standards. This is while working with the consulting team to deliver impactful and inspiring campaigns.Khor joins the agency from McCann, where he was creative group head. Throughout his career, he has worked with global brands such as NIKE, IKEA, IBM, Volkswagen and Oreo. His appointment comes as the agency looks to strengthen its position in the marketing communications space, with creativity at the core.“As we step forward to become a full-service marketing communications agency, creativity becomes the driving force not just in the work we do, but also the people we invest in and the brands we engage with. Having Khor as our creative director will help us deepen the culture of creativity and innovation across the business," managing consultant Lee Tiam Siang said.Text100 has also realigned its Digital Hub from a predominantly digital and technical team to a full suite of creative service consultants that include integrated designers, technology producers, web developers, and a creative copywriter. Following Khor’s appointment, Text100 has made further strategic hires and developments that include Crystal Chong as creative copywriter and Jason Boi, who transitions from the role of senior designer to digital producer."We are living in a state of flux within the entire marketing communications landscape, and this is the reality for both agency and client.
