Temasek launches ad campaign for Singapore’s golden jubilee [VIDEO]

Investment company Temasek Holdings has rolled out its latest campaign called ‘Growing with the Nation’ in conjunction with Singapore’s Jubilee celebrations.

Created by independent agency Formul8, the TVC for the campaign launched digitally on Temasek’s YouTube channel on 1 August. Maxus handled media duties for the campaign.

The description of the video reads, “As we mark the 50th birthday of our home, we continue to look to turn bold dreams into enduring realities, while leaving no one behind.”

The ad follows a day in the life of a family, capturing the daughter’s reactions and greetings to those around her as the family makes their way around a neighbourhood. The video spot journeys with the family as the scene transitions from views of familiar HDB high-rises to modern façades of the Central Business District with the narration: “We seed bold ideas to transform the impossible of today into the possible of tomorrow.”

In a statement to Marketing, a Temasek spokesperson said: “As part of our annual Temasek Review, we undertake some advertising to inform and engage our stakeholders on our performance, governance and community initiatives. We have been doing this for a few years now, and find it helps our communities understand us better and engage with us.”

Boasting a portfolio of SG$266 billion, the Singapore government-owned company’s subsidiaries include brands such as SMRT, Singapore Airlines and Singtel, among many others.
