Telekom Malaysia has appointed Kairul Annuar Mohamed Zam Zam as the chief strategy officer. Annuar will be relinquishing his current position as executive vice president (EVP) of TM Government and chairman of Managed Accounts Council (MAC).
Annuar has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Over the years, he has taken up different roles giving him considerable knowledge in the industry, exposure to regulatory matters and the various stakeholders within the industry.
Replacing him is Azizi A Hadi who will now be the executive vice president of managed accounts, and Mohd Roslan Mohd Rashidi, who will assume the role of head of TM Government.
Meanwhile, Nor Fadhilah Mohd Ali will assume the position of group CFO with effect from 15 May 2017. She is currently the Financial Controller, Group Finance since 16 August 2015.
“These are key appointments under our new TM leadership, and part of the next phase of the Company’s ongoing transformation journey as Malaysia’s Convergence Champion; building on the strong foundation established by Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa,” said Mohammed Shazalli Ramly, group chief executive officer, TM.
“We are also very pleased to note that all these appointments are internal homegrown talents who have been identified in our leadership succession plan. This is in line with TM becoming a more agile organisation, responding to business and market needs,” he added.
