TCOB has been rewarded a half-year contract with The Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) to manage its sponsor partners.Under the new deal, TCOB will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the company’s sponsor partners, after HKFA expanded its sponsorship roster with new partners including AIA, HK Airlines, JP Morgan, Watsons Water and BOCG Life. With a mission to revitalise local sport, HKFA has embarked on a brand revitalization plan under a new slogan "clear and logical" with a new professional Premier League for next season. The association has received a major boost from the Hong Kong government for a five years plan that will replace Project Phoenix next month. "There is a good fit between the two organisations because of a shared passion for sport, desire to provide better marketing, activation and ideas," said James Beacher, manager of TCOB Events."As the most popular participation and spectator sport in the city, there are huge opportunities for organisations to get involved with from a purely commercial basis but also for Corporate Social Responsibility purposes."He added the transformation of football has recently been given a further shot in the arm by getting confirmation of a further five-years support from the government."Partners can invest in football and get a return knowing that it is a positive sustainable opportunity backed by the public sector," he added.
