STW's Edge Asia Network acquires Vietnam agency

Southeast Asian digital agency Edge Asia, under STW Group, has acquired Vietnam-based agency Red Brand Builders. Founded by in 2004 by Marc Gough of So Branding in Melbourne, Red Brand Builders has clients such as Kimberly Clark, Unilever, Big C, Nestle, Masan and Vinamilk.After joining Edge Asia, Red Brand Builders managing director Chris Elkin will lead Edge Asia’s Vietnam business.Commenting on the acquisition, Edge Asia chief executive officer, Patrick Looram said: “Our goal for bringing Red Brand Builders into the Edge Asia network is to accelerate our already strong business in Vietnam. Our strategy across the region has always been to join forces with successful and established ‘on the ground’ businesses like Red Brand Builders and then leverage our scale and expertise to help them grow even faster.“The completion of this partnership significantly strengthens our offer to clients in South East Asia and particularly in Vietnam. To date, Red Brand Builders has been highly successful in growing its business and we believe the combination of its local market expertise with Edge Asia and STW’s regional reach and connections will drive even stronger growth in the future.Red Brand Builders managing director, Chris Elkin said: “This provides an excellent opportunity for all of our team to become part of one of South East Asia’s leading regional agency networks, Edge Asia.
