The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) will be calling a combined agency pitch for its creative, digital and production services in August 2015.
According to a statement, it is looking for a global network agency that can integrate creative, digital and production capabilities, a combination that is in line with industry trends and best practices. The move is set to “create greater synergies across its global suite of marketing activities,” said the tourism body.
The current agencies of J. Walter Thompson (creative) and Mirum (digital & production) were appointed in April 2013. STB’s current contracts end in March 2016. Incumbent media agency MEC will have their contract extended by a year until end March 2017.
According to STB, proposals should demonstrate a creative and integrated multi-channel approach, and incorporate innovative data-driven ideas that leverage compelling content, and real-time and mobile marketing. The appointment will be for a period of two years with an option to extend the contract annually, for a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance.
“As STB continues on our journey towards quality tourism, we are seeking world-class agency partners who are able to offer bold and impactful solutions, while providing a holistic and strategic perspective on the global STB account,” Lynette Pang, assistant chief executive, Singapore Tourism Board said.
