Sri Lanka's Niche joins Go Comm

Go Communications has partnered with Niche Corporate Communications, one of the first PR agencies in Sri Lanka, to provide PR services to clients in Colombo.Niche is headed by Nayomini Ratnayake Weerasooriya, journalist, columnist, founder/editor of Satyn, leading women's magazine and for pioneering PR in Sri Lanka.According to Michael de Kretser (pictured left), CEO of GO Communications, "It's a two-way approach - there's so much that can be done to enhance the image building exercises for organisations here at home. On the other hand, we could take those organisations to a worldwide audience via a unique PR platform."In September last year, Go Communications acquired Cambodian PR agency Active in a 100% buyout following the acquisition of Thailand PR agency DC Consultants in May. This is a part of the agency's plan to enter new markets that includes Myanmar, Indonesia and Vietnam by the middle of this year."We are placed strategically across the Asian region to provide outstanding PR skills to our clients globally and regionally," Bob Chua (pictured right), chairman of the GO Communications Group, said.
