Local food and beverage brands Skinny Pizza and Forty Hands Coffee, have re-launched their websites to improve digital engagement with their customers.Reading Room was appointed digital agency by Spa Esprit Group (SEG) in May 2014 to redesign websites for SEG’s six brands. The new websites for Skinny Pizza and Forty Hands Coffee come in a refreshing and slick responsive design with a focus on practical information desired by audiences. The websites now feature a contemporary look and user-centric navigation. They tell the stories behind the brands with every section highlighting relevant content, removing the barriers for customers who are looking for information about the restaurants.“Skinny Pizza and Forty Hands Coffee are two great Singaporean home-grown brands,” says Ferdi Wieling, creative director of Reading Room. “Throughout the project we’ve worked closely with SEG to understand their strategic business objectives, more than just a website that advertises food and beverage.”The two websites are part of SEG’s increasing investment in digital marketing to create a better customer journey across multi-channels. It has also created a foundation that is scalable for SEG to roll out a wider digital strategy in the future.Harry Grover, director at Forty Hands Coffee, says, “With an excellent, no-fuss attitude, Reading Room quickly gathered a clear and accurate picture of the brand message, and the working process was very refreshing.”“With this new site,” adds Wieling, “we’re able to showcase their brand story, the passions that drive them and the reason they are loved by the Singaporean public.”
