To make brands more appealing, the app also allows the addition of an image to the Snapcode, which can be done by clicking on the ghost icon. The image can be sourced from the website or from the camera roll. With this, brands can now promote themselves on the platform with an image and not just a mere URL.The social media platform has been making continuous efforts to attract a wide range of users. For instance, recently, Snapchat added a new feature called a search bar to its lists of updates. The search bar can be accessed from the top of the app, where users can conveniently chat with other users, search for content and add new friends.Last year, Snapchat had also unveiled its new camera and hardware called Spectacles, which are sunglasses built with an integrated video camera which makes it easier to capture photo and video memories for its Snapchat platform.Spectacles connects directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or Wifi and transfers a user’s “Memories” directly into the app in its brand new circular video format.
