Six creative heads mark POAD’s 25th birthday

POAD is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a digital campaign featuring exclusive interviews with a group of creative veterans about their career paths, hosted by former ECD of JWT Hong Kong Willde Ng.

Starting this week with JWT Hong Kong general manager Dennis Lam, the campaign “1/4 Century of Seeing” aims to inspire marketers, the people in the advertising industry and younger generation interested in advertising, with one new video to be uploaded on POAD’s YouTube channel each month.

The dialogue between the incumbent JWT GM and the former JWT ECD (who is also the founder of independent shop Think Without Thinking), has an interesting dynamic given their mentor-mentee relationship and JWT’s 150 anniversary this year.

Following Lam are Keith Ho, managing partner and CCO of Grey Hong Kong; Kitty Lun, Chairman and CEO of Lowe China; Sue McCusker, CEO of Publicis Hong Kong; Alfred Wong, ECD of Leo Burnett Hong Kong and Spencer Wong, CEO and creative chairman of McCann & Spencer Hong Kong.

The video will be carried through an EDM series titled “Saluting the World’s Most Respected Advertising Agencies”, and on social media.

“Looking forward to the next quarter-century and beyond, we shall continue to embrace the smarter spirit, strive for new opportunities and deliver greater values for landlords and clients,” commented Bruce Kong, chief executive of POAD.
