SingPost provides publicity support for Sing!China Singapore Selection 2017

Tapping on its extensive postal and digital networks, SingPost is spreading the word that the search is on for top vocalists to represent Singapore on Chinese Pop music’s biggest talent competition.Following the launch of the Singapore Selection of Sing!China 2017 on 29 December 2016, SingPost will be drumming up buzz and fan support for the contestants through a slew of activities.Sherina Wong, SingPost vice president, said: “SingPost is honoured that it is able to contribute to Singapore’s music industry with its postal and digital networks. Nathan Hartono’s amazing achievements last year show that Sing China is an excellent opportunity for Singapore’s aspiring pop stars to realise their dreams.”To raise awareness of the competition and help the Singapore contestants grow their fan base, SingPost will issue a set of MyStamps featuring the 12 finalists and the four local celebrity judges. These will go on sale one day after the 12 Singapore finalists receive notification of their selection in SingPost Smartpacs on 19 March 2017.SingPost will also organise a meet-the-fans session that will tap on the large network of bloggers, e-commerce retailers and shoppers of its subsidiary Sample Store.The meet-the-fans session will be organised together with a Sample Store Shoppers’ Paradise. Sample Store’s 230,000 active users will be invited to this event, where they can meet the finalists as well as buy beauty and lifestyle products from participating global brands, such as Taiwan’s Beauty-Keeper, the US’ JBL, and Singapore’s Wild Wild Wet.Sample Store is Singapore’s leading tryvertising platform, where consumers are given free samples to try out new and innovative products before they are invited to buy them.The Shoppers’ Paradise will run from 23 March 2017 to 26 March 2017 at Waterway Point mall, with the Sing!China Singapore finalists making appearances on 25 and 26 March 2017.SingPost will also be organising a Beauty Workshop on 2 April 2017 for the top five finalists, at which they will be taught how they can make a visual impression when they go to the China finals. 100 fans and 50 bloggers will be invited as well to this event.All these publicity events and other Sing!China highlights will be shared and broadcast on Sample Store’s social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram.The Singapore Selection of Sing!China 2017 is organised by Eeva Productions
