Singapore Sports Council has launched a tender looking to appoint a public relations agency. This is for the integrated marketing communication for its SportCares division.
The aim of the The SportCares division is to use sports as a force for social good by “empowering people in need”. This is the first time SportCares is looking to work with a PR agency to raise its profile amongst corporates and the general public.
The agency will be tasked with creating awareness of SportCares through traditional and new media, by leveraging on Sport Singapore and SportCares events and activities.
The appointment is for 14 months and the tender close on the 14 April 2014.
“For the past year, SportCares has largely operated below the radar, with its initiatives benefitting over 3,900 low-income and at-risk youth,” a spokesperson said.
“As such, the agency will need to showcase SportCares as a valuable CSR partner amongst companies seeking to invest their social responsibility dollars in empowering people through sport.”
