Singapore Management University enlists help of Redhill PR

Singapore Management University’s Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE) has appointed Redhill Communications as the agency for partnerships and PR for the 2017 Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC).

The competition will take place at SMU from 11 to 15 September 2017.The institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship anchors the SMU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area of Excellence . IIE is a practice-oriented institute that provides support for innovation and entrepreneurship related activities across all the schools at SMU.

Its activities range from events, competitions, networking sessions, workshops, training programmes, study missions and internships for entrepreneurs and budding entrepreneurs, as well as a full-fledged incubation programme which helps  aspiring entrepreneurs take their ideas to market.

“We believe the energy, enthusiasm and the capable start-up culture of Redhill is a good fit for an event that celebrates entrepreneurship,” said Hau Koh Foo, director of IIE.

The Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition is named after Singapore’s first Prime Minister, who is widely recognised as a strategic thinker and a global visionary. It is this spirit of intelligence, entrepreneurship, innovation and ambition the biennial marquee competition enshrines as it invites the brightest minds from the world’s most entrepreneurial universities to come together to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
