Sime Darby Malaysia’s Martin Dsilva moves to CIMB

Sime Darby’s head of brand communications Martin Dsilva has recently left the company with no replacement being named as of yet.According to sources, Dsilva will take up a role at CIMB managing regional sponsorship. He will be reporting to Effendy Shahul Hamid who was recently promoted to the role of CEO of group asset management & investments in CIMB Bank.Dsilva (pictured) had been with the Sime Darby team for nearly six years. Prior to his stint at Sime Darby, he was assistant GM – group marketing at Telekom Malaysia for two years. He was also at Interface Advertising which is an IPG Company for nearly five years.A+M has also reached out to both Dsilva and Sime Darby for a statement.
