Sime Darby gets creative

Sime Darby Property, the co-creator of The Apartment reality TV series, has launched the Style Your Véo contest to reach out to its market segments and to highlight Sime Darby's soon-to-be-launched property The Véo.Style Your Véo is an online contest, which runs until December 2012, in which the public can design a living space of The Véo via the property's official website."The contest also provides us with a platform to cultivate a database of young, trendy, style-conscious Malaysians and to engage with them in innovative and unconventional way," said Zulkifli Tahmali, head of property development of Sime Darby Property.Sime Darby aims to create awareness and subsequently drive viewership to The Apartment : Style Edition, season two of the interior design reality show. The show garnered 97 million households in 22 countries across Asia in the first season.Contestants of the Style Your Véo contest need to watch The Apartment : Style Edition and answer three questions weekly in order to unlock new items to design their living space.Style Your Véo will be judged by Sime Darby Property representatives as well as the programme's two celebrity judges, Jamie Durie (pictured left) and Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen (pictured right).This contest is promoted on Sime Darby's official Facebook page as well as on radio stations Capital FM and Red FM.The contest is sponsored by Sime Darby Property, Dulux, Viva, Haus, Starworld and The Imagine Group, which is also the production house of the series.For the Style Your Véo contest, Mindshare is the creative and media agency while Acorn Communications manages the PR.
