Shangri-La Hotels is celebrating the opening of the new Sanya Resort and Spa in Hainan with a multi-channel launch campaign in China.
Created by Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong, the “Create Your Fun” (šĻźŚú®Ś•ášł≠) campaign features artwork using sand art technique, which captures the wide range of facilities at the new resort in Sanya.
The campaign video shows families and friends coming together to help create the artwork, highlighting the excitement and fun of the recreational activities available for the family.
Reed Collins, chief creative officer at Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong, said the beautifully crafted invitation to Shangri-La Hainan was brought to life by Andres Amador through his sand art.

The campaign launches with digital, print and social (Weibo and WeChat) media executions.
