Schneider Electric appoints Leong

Schneider Electric has appointed Soo Pow Leong as the new country president for Malaysia.Schneider Electric zone president of East Asia, Zeljko Kosanovic said, "Soo's experience in leading organisations through change management that resulted in corporate growth makes him the ideal candidate to lead Schneider Electric Malaysia.”Soo has over 20 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry. In the past two years, he led Schneider Electric’s Equipment Cluster in Asia Pacific where he managed seven equipment plants located in five countries and in 2013.Soo aspires to drive the Malaysian team to deliver energy efficiency to local businesses in order to achieve reduced carbon footprint and sustainability.
