Global – Cloud-computing firm Salesforce.com has revealed the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a social marketing suite, combining the expertise of Buddy Media and Radian6.
The suite unifies social listening, content, engagement, advertising, workflow, automation and management, allowing brands to manage their social marketing activity and access common assets on a single platform.
Michael Lazerow (pictured), chief marketing officer of Salesforce Marketing Cloud at Saleforce.com, said brands are shifting from traditional marketing to using social media to connect with its customers and fans around the world.
“Salesforce Marketing Cloud empowers brands to take advantage of this shift, turning insight into action and connections into customers for life,” the founder of Buddy Media added.
In June this year, Salesforce had acquired Buddy Media for US$689 million (SG$843.9 million), four months after the social media management platform bought over Brighter Option, a London-based Facebook ads API partner.
Additionally, Salesforce had also acquired social analytics firm Radian6 last year for US$326 million in a bid to offer brands a complete suite of offerings.
