Saatchi & Saatchi SG’s Eric Yeo moves to Leo Burnett

Publicis Communications Singapore has named Eric Yeo (pictured) executive creative director of Leo Burnett Singapore, effective immediately. Prior to his new role, Yeo was the creative group director at Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore since June 2015.

He reports to Publicis Communications Singapore CEO Lou Dela Pena. Yeo has worked at agencies including TBWA, Y&R, Wunderman, Ogilvy, FCB, Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore and Lowe Thailand. He has more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, having worked in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

“Yeo has been an invaluable part of our team since he joined us. Not only is he a world-class creative, he is also a rare combination of grit, grace and killer creative ambition,” Dela Pena said.

“Yeo also has a reputation in our industry for spotting, inspiring and nurturing young talent. In fact, many of the creatives that he has groomed have gone on to have hugely successful careers of their own. We are incredibly lucky to have him lead our agency,” she added.

“There is nothing I relish more than the opportunity at hand. One that allows me to build a creative department that is talented and curious in equal measure. The thirst to do great work that works for our clients will be the compass that points Leo Burnett into the next chapter,” said Yeo.

“I am very excited to partner with Eric. It is our desire to push creativity, together with the extraordinary talent in his team, in order to deliver only the best for our clients,” Serene Koh, MD of Leo Burnett Singapore, said.

Earlier this year, BMW Asia and Performance Motors Limited (PML) both appointed Leo Burnett Singapore to manage their creative accounts. The appointment for BMW Asia is for three years while PML’s is a period of one year.
