Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia names MD

Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia has promoted Adrian Sng, previously the general manager of the agency to managing director. Sng (pictured) has been in the role of general manager for two years.This year alone Sng has led the agency to win four new business wins, including KDU and Paramount Corporation Berhad together with organic wins on Bank Simpanan Nasional, on top of nine wins in 2013.One such win reported earlier this year was with Mamee Double Decker (MMDD) Group. MMDD is one of Malaysia’s largest home grown F&B companies for snacks, instant noodles and beverages. This follows on from momentum created as a result of two other wins in the second half of 2013 for Malaysian Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN).“The work that we do for our clients are what we, as a collective agency, believe makes a difference to their business and to Malaysians. A great campaign starts new conversations and creates growth. They transform brands into Lovemarks,” said Sng.“Add to that, the strength of our current team and the spirit of’ ‘One Team, One Dream’ really shines through.”In August this year, Paul Roebuck (pictured), last CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore and Malaysia took on a new role at BBDO. Replacing him, as of 1 September 2014, was Shannon Cullum will lead Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore and Malaysia as CEO.Sng will report to Cullum.
