Rugby Singapore has picked Brand New Media (BNM), a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, as its creative and marketing agency for the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens Series tournament. It will occur on 28 and 29 April 2018. Rugby Singapore is the commercial arm of the Singapore Rugby Union.
This follows a pitch called in September, which also indicated that Rugby Singapore was on the hunt for a communications, PR and social agency for HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens 2018. BNM will assist Rugby Singapore in spearheading a seven-month campaign for the tournament. BNM’s marketing strategy focuses on building a uniquely Singaporean persona for the tournament, and the six-month campaign will include multimedia content and creatives delivered across various targeted consumer channels in Singapore and across Asia Pacific.
“Rugby Singapore is looking forward to working with Brand New Media on the 2018 HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens campaign. Brand New Media was appointed through a demanding selection process, and we have brought on board an agency partner that matches our vision and ambitions for the April 2018 event,” David Lim, chairman of Rugby, said.
