Ruder Finn makes key promotions in China

Ruder Finn has promoted three key staff to major positions in the network. Gao Ming, who has been the general manager of Ruder Finn Shanghai since 2008, has been promoted to head the National Luxury Practice. Ming joined Ruder Finn in 2005, he has been instrumental in growing Ruder Finn luxury team to a formidable practice with more than 70 professionals which has achieved many firsts in the industry. Tony Dong, who joined Ruder Finn in February, has taken over the general manager’s role in Shanghai. Dong joined Ruder Finn as deputy general manager, Shanghai early this year and demonstrated his outstanding business acumen and team leadership. He brings more than 19 years PR and media experience to Ruder Finn, providing strategic counsel and communication solutions to clients across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, technology, finance and consumer. Meanwhile, Grace Liang, who has been with Ruder Finn since 2003, has been promoted to general manager of Ruder Finn Guangzhou. Liang joined Ruder Finn in 2003 as the leader of the South China Healthcare practice. With more than a decade experience in the PR industry, Liang provides strategic and comprehensive perspectives in corporate and marketing communications.Elan Shou, executive vice president and managing director Ruder Finn Greater China, said: “The leadership skills, professionalism and experience of Gao Ming and Grace Liang have made them widely acknowledged as the best practitioners in their respective fields and regions.
