Ruder Finn bags PR retainer
Ruder Finn Asia has secured a public relations retainer from ARA Trust Management (Suntec), manager of Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust (Suntec REIT). In its appointment, the communications agency will hence help to reposition Suntec City Mall, and will develop and implement its communications strategy and media relations. Currently, the mall is undergoing a SG$230 million three-phase Asset Enhancement Initiative and is expected to be fully operational by 2014.
Spring Singapore calls agency tender
Spring Singapore is looking for a public relations and marketing agency for Asia Fashion Exchange 2013. The appointment would be for the months leading up to the event and Asia Fashion Exchange 2013 will be held from 16 to 19 May. The chosen agency will be tasked to create awareness of the event and handle PR and media relations pertaining to the event. Similarly, The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) is looking for public relations agencies to quote for the provision of public relations services to promote the social work profession for a 3-month period from January 2013 to 31 March 2013.
Moove Media brings wildlife to the city
Moove Media, the OOH advertising arm of ComfrtDelGro, has installed a three-dimensional set-up for Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The OOH advertisement featured stickers of boulders and rocks in front of a mural with flamingoes. Placed at SBS Transit’s HarbourFront train station, the campaign served to promote the launch of the High Flyers Show at Jurong Bird Park, an educational programme about the natural behaviours of birds. Launched today, the campaign will run up till 26 December.
RS Components enjoys 75 years
Electronics company RS Components is celebrating its 75 years of business with a brand campaign which aims to demonstrate the proven reliability of RS Components and build trust among its customers. The campaign will run on print, digital, direct mail and sales promotion material across APAC, excluding India, with the tagline of “We help engineers keep the world running”. The company is working with Cuckoo, an integrated marketing communications agency based in Singapore, for this campaign.
History channel gains popularity
A+E Networks’ History channel’s global premiere of “Mankind The Story of All of Us” and local production “Hidden Cities: Extreme” witnessed an increased viewership for the channel. The former drew top audience ratings, with shares of 44% in Singapore, 54% in the Philippines and 38% in Malaysia on December 5. In addition, “Hidden Cities: Extreme” was ranked first in Singapore and Malaysia in its timeslot.
