Robb returns to Singapore

Robb Report magazine will be launched in Singapore for a second time with its debut hitting the stands on 23 November.It will be produced by international publisher Indochine Media Ventures and will be tailored to local readers.Robb Report previously launched in Singapore in 2008 under license from CurtCo Robb Media in the US. The magazine closed after two years.This time around Robb Report Singapore claims it will have an initial circulation of 15,000, made available via corporate subscriptions and selected bookstores and news stands.The publisher is yet to decide if it will undergo an audit process.Advertisers which have already come on board include luxury watches and jewellery, automobiles, yachts and private jets, as well as fashion, travel and dining, money and real estate sectors.Robb Report Singapore will reach out to the affluent market including business owners and CEO's. The Singapore editorial team will be lead by editor Alex Choma who was previously editor-in-chief of Luxury Guide for Vietnam.It also has editions in countries such as Russia, China, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Spain, India, Vietnam, Dubai and now, Singapore.Michael von Schlippe, president of Indochine Media Ventures, said the company is "investing heavily" into the launch campaign and the quality of the product."We don't expect to be profitable anytime soon, we're here for the long run and plan to launch more titles every year."
