Redhill Asia, a Singapore-headquartered strategic communications firm, has opened an office in San Francisco. This follows its expansion into more than 10 countries in the Asian region last year, with the more recent developments in China, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Alexandra Cirgenski has been appointed as regional director of North America to head the US operations. She has over ten years of experience working in creative environments in various roles where she played consultant to small businesses and managed projects – specialising in communications and branding strategies.
“San Francisco is a natural progression for us considering the rapid and dynamic growth of many of our clients. Our foray into the US will grant us direct access to the media landscape there,” said Jacob Puthenparambil (pictured), partner at Redhill.
“Our clients in the immediate regions will be able to maximise their exposure with Redhill as a bridge connecting their markets of operations namely China, India, Southeast Asia and the US,” he added.
Redhill has also made strategic hires to further its growth in the Southeast Asian region.
In Singapore, Malini Thakker joins the firm as account manager where she brings with her experience in managing multiple projects in PR and marketing. She will take charge of accounts such as Kejora Ventures, REAPRA and VentureCraft.
To expand the company’s digital communications capabilities, Nicole Tow joins as a consultant where she specialises in content creation for the digital and social media stratosphere. Responsible for developing and growing the firm’s clientele in Asia, Pranav Rastogi will also come on board as consultant from April 2017.
Moreover, Sabrena Jefri has joined Redhill’s team in Malaysia as a consultant to develop new business opportunities in the country. Integral to furthering growth in Thailand, Natcha Kornkerati will head the firm’s operations from Bangkok – where she will be responsible for servicing premium ice-cream brand Häagen-Dazs.
