Publicis Groupe names joint lead for Saatchis and Leo Burnett

Lou Dela Pena is set to take on a group level role at Publicis. Currently the CEO for its agency brand Publicis, she will now also lead both Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi.Loris Nold, chief executive officer for Asia Pacific and Africa, Publicis Worldwide said: "One of Publicis Communications key objectives is to strengthen cross-agency collaboration and expertise in every market for the direct benefit of our clients. In Singapore specifically, we asked Lou Dela Pena to lead our effort, and in this capacity she will partner very closely with our agencies leadership.""Lou has had two incredible years at the helm of Publicis Singapore and I have no doubt that she will do a great job."Dela Pena on the appointment said: "Publicis Communications is an incredible accelerator for us. I am truly excited to be working more closely with Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi, both great agencies, working with their leaders to lead growth for the Singapore market".Without divulging details about her new designation, Dela Pena told Marketing she will work closely with the management of all the three agencies.The move comes following the network reorganising its structure into four groups, namely Publicis Communications; Publicis Media; Publicis.Sapient and Publicis Healthcare.Publicis declined to comment on the move's implication on Saatchi & Saatchi lead Shannon Cullum who replaced Paul Roebuck in 2014. Cullum has however confirmed to Marketing currently there is no change in his role.Publicis Communications is globally led by Arthur Sadoun, chief executive officer. This hub will be comprised of all creative networks: Publicis Worldwide, MSL, Nurun, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett as well as BBH and Marcel. It will also include the production hub, Prodigious.
