Publicis appoints Stanley Chow as new GM in Hong Kong

Publicis has appointed Stanley Chow (left) as general manager of Publicis Modem Hong Kong, with Alex Lam taking on the role of director of digital planning at Publicis Shanghai.Chow joins the agency from SCMP Group where he ran CRM strategy and operations across various divisions.Reporting to Sue Mccusker, CEO of Publicis Hong Kong, Chow will oversee the operations of the Hong Kong digital unit. Chow is a not a newcomer to the agency scene having held senior posts with Grey, CCG (now Digitas) and Blue (now Possible Worldwide).Reporting to Heidi Zhang, national planning director of Publicis Shanghai, Lam will serve key Publicis global clients. His previous client roster includes the Royal Bank of Scotland, Shell, L’Oreal, British Airways, Epson, Arcadia Group and Cancer Research UK.Jeffrey Yu, CEO of Publicis Greater China, said: “Building digital capabilities is at the heart of our agency, Stanley and Alex’s appointments are vital additions to this strategy and their digital expertise will definitely strengthen our positioning as a 360⁰ advertising agency.”
