PropertyGuru Singapore has launched a virtual showroom experience out to the public at three road shows island wide using Mediacorp OOH Media’s 14-footer experiential truck.
As part of PropertyGuru’s Great Singapore Specials (PGSS), this campaign brought the VR experience to the general public during three island wide roadshows at One Raffles Place, Century Square and Jurong Point, letting the public experience the Virtual Reality Showroom inside the truck.
Upon stepping inside the truck, which was fitted to look like a living room, the public was welcomed to have an immersive experience of walking through any five of their newest show flats by navigating through a virtual tour projected on-screen.
Outside of the truck, promoters were on site to engage and demonstrate the use of VR goggles to the public, bringing them an immersive experience as if they were in the physical show flats.
Bjorn Sprengers, chief marketing officer of PropertyGuru, said, “We have always been passionate about bringing the latest technologies to property seekers that enhance the search experience. We recently started experimenting with new technologies like VR on different platforms and noticed that users were more engaged in such content, so we merged the concept of a pop-up store and VR in this campaign, to create an industry-first in Singapore – a mobile VR Showroom – to redefine the home search experience. This is the first time property seekers have been able to put themselves in the planned environment – a truly immersive and intuitive VR experience that is not just fun, but insightful.”
Henry Goh, head of OOH Media said, “Augmenting the plethora of OOH media platforms, our mobile experiential trucks allows us to extend a physical and experiential engagement. This enables our client to extend that immersive experience of being in a showflat to the public, giving them the flexibility to engage audiences in an intimate setting.”
