Project: WorldWide appoints Tan

Project: WorldWide has appointed industry veteran Michael Tan (pictured) as managing director shopper marketing, Asia Pacific. Tan, formerly managing director, Asia Pacific at shopper marketing agency Saatchi & Saatchi X, will spearhead growth across Project: WorldWide's agencies in the region. He will be based in Guangzhou, China.Tan's integrated marketing communications and brand activation experience spans over 20 years and includes clients such as P&G, Colgate Palmolive, BAT, Diageo, Johnson & Johnson, Lenovo, Coca-Cola, and Asia Pacific Breweries. Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi X, he held a variety of leadership positions with Grey/G2 and Ogilvy Action Asia Pacific.Tan will report to Amour, who is Singapore-based, and will work closely with Charlie Anderson, CEO Shoptology, Project: WorldWide's next-generation shopper engagement agency, headquartered in the U.S."We are delighted that Michael has joined the Project team in Asia Pacific,” said Mike Amour, CEO Asia Pacific for Project: WorldWide. “Shopper marketing is core to our ability to deliver powerful programs that engage consumers and drive them to act."
