Primeworks brings on board Nor Shahila Harun Shah as GM

Primeworks Studios (PWS) has appointed Nor Shahila Harun Shah (pictured) as the new general manager of film production. Nor will lead her team of creatives in Grand Brilliance, the film production imprint of PWS.In her new role, Nor will be responsible for overseeing each project from conception to completion, and will also be associated in its marketing and distribution processes.With 28 years of experience in the industry, Nor’s career focus has always been about delivering content that not only caters to the local audiences, but also internationally. In the past, she was the general manager of content development, talent management and alt record for Media Prima Group. She was accountable for generating and facilitating a whole new generation of content for four different TV channels under the Media Prima group.Prior to this, she had taken on various senior leadership positions within the organisation as well as in other media companies as senior producer, head of production, executive producer and manager.“Nor’s experience and understanding in creating engaging content will help us push the boundaries of our storytelling, in line with our motto – Asian stories for the world,” said Ahmad Izham Omar, CEO of Primeworks Studios.
