Plug PR names account director

Independent public relations and marketing agency Plug PR has appointed Karen Finnerty as account director.Finnerty joins Plug from creative communications agency Havas Dublin, where she was head of PR and led campaigns for brands including PepsiCo, Jack Daniels, Slane Irish Whiskey and Tiger.Having established the PR division at Havas Dublin, she oversaw the integration of PR into all facets of the business spanning ATL, BTL, digital, experiential marketing and social.Finnerty’s appointment will see her work alongside MD Lara Jefferies for continued business growth and innovation within the Plug portfolio. She will also explore expansion avenues for the company's business, with the aim of offering clients an enhanced integrated communications approach.
