Phil Talbot joins Axis Business Consulting as partner

Phil Talbot, former CEO of ZenithOptimedia APAC, has joined Axis Business Consulting as partner as it expands to South East Asia and Australia.Headed by Alan Rutherford and Louise Au, Axis was launched in 2011 and has since then been working closely with both the international agency networks, to support the development of their expansion strategies in the China and Asia region, and with local agencies as they seek to accelerate their development."Axis has enjoyed tremendous success in China. That is largely due to our unique offering of understanding the Chinese agencies and the challenges they face as well as the requirements of international agency groups,’ said Rutherford."With Phil joining Axis as our partner we are going to broaden our geographic offering."The addition of Talbot to Axis will help enhance the company’s foothold in the region, covering key markets including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines, that are with high potential growth in advertising, media and marketing communications.The company is officially registered in Hong Kong, and is servicing clients and partners from their hubs in London, Shanghai, Singapore and Australia."Asia has for the last 10 years has been the global growth engine for media marketing communications and will be for the foreseeable future," said Talbot."Asia is currently a hotbed of start ups and innovators, and in recent years I have been fortunate to work with and mentor some of these companies."Joining Axis as a partner allows me to further pursue my passion for being involved in developing Asian entrepreneurial opportunities and introducing them to a wider audience."Talbot will also continue in his role as CEO and Founder of Asia Communication Xpertise (ACX).
