PHD Malaysia makes digital hire

PHD Malaysia has appointed Kenneth Wong (pictured) as its new associate digital director effective immediately in a move to enhance its digital platform.Reporting to general manager Audrey Chong and Omnicom Media Group's digital platform director Danny Chin, Wong will work closely with the senior leadership team while developing and strengthening PHD Malaysia's online offering, leading digital initiatives and developing specialised services in the area.Wong, a seasoned marketer, joins from Celcom Axiata where he headed its online and above-the-line marketing and communications planning.He has nine years of experience in the industry in different roles including client servicing, strategic and brand marketing stints at interface advertising, Institute for Customer Relationship Management and CIMB.Wong said the media side of the business is a strong channel to influence the way brands utilise digital in their marketing and communications.
