PHD Hong Kong promotes James Wong to head of strategy

PHD Hong Kong has promoted James Wong to head of strategy for the agency. In his new role, Wong will be responsible for further elevating the agency’s strategic product offering for its clients. His remit has also been expanded to provide strategic planning support to the Unilever team in PHD Taiwan, ensuring seamless cross-border learning and best practices within the network. The promotion is effective immediately.Ever since joining PHD Hong Kong in early 2017, Wong has made a significant contribution to the agency’s award-winning work.  He has also advanced the agency’s agenda on marketing technology, having secured partnerships with local tech start-ups, such as Well Being Digital 101, creators of state-of-the-art sensors for wearables; ORII, the world’s first voice-powered smart ring; and chatbot developers Rocketbot. A frequent contributor to the agency’s ongoing thought leadership, Wong recently authored the first of PHD’s flipbook series “The Voice of Conversation”.Clement Chung, managing director of PHD Hong Kong, comments: “James is an integral member of the PHD Management Team, bringing strategy and innovation to every client brief.
