Petronas settles creative pitch

Petronas has appointed Leo Burnett for its corporate and festive categories and McCann Erickson for its retail projects.

The decision to appoint the two agencies was made after a rigorous ten-months tendering involving six creative agencies.

Under the agreement, both Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson will handle all ATL creative activities undertaken by Petronas Group, both locally and internationally.

The two-year contract will take effect from 30 September 2013. A Petronas spokesperson confirmed this to A+M.
