Petronas calls for creative pitch

Petronas has called for a creative pitch. The incumbent on the account is DNAComm.

The oil and gas company is looking for an agency to manage below-the-line creative duties, several sources confirmed to A+M.

Still in its nascent stage, the pitch is by invitation-only with several agencies said to be participating in it including M&C Saatchi, CD Communications Group, Lowe Malaysia and incumbent DNAComm, A+M understands from sources.

The agencies and Petronas declined to comment when contacted at the time of writing.

In the past, Petronas has also worked with Leo Burnett for its Hari Raya and Gawai Dayak campaigns. Leo Burnett was appointed in 2013 by Petronas for a two-year period.

Petronas is also holding an ongoing media review with Maxus, Carat and incumbent Zenith said to be in the pitch.
