Oracle hands PR account to Golin Asia Pacific

Oracle has appointed IPG's Golin to be its lead agency in Asia Pacific. The agency will be responsible to support Oracle’s communications strategy in the PR, digital and content sectors across the APAC region.Building on a 13-year partnership between Oracle and IPG in EMEA, the agency is also tasked to deliver synergies to consolidate Oracle’s reputation in cloud computing through an international programme."The business technology sector is a brutally competitive space, and with Golin’s support we look forward to showcasing the strengths and attractions of Oracle’s cloud services to firms throughout the region," said Chris Talago, vice president of PR & communications for JAPAC and EMEA at Oracle.Marc Sparrow, executive director at Golin, said the agency's integrated strategy will be channel agnostic and involve the creation of stories and perspectives that demonstrate Oracle’s role in addressing a broad range of the challenges faced by APAC’s business leaders. He added that its campaign will look to drive innovation in easily sharable long- and short-form content to support Oracle’s digitally-focused communications strategy in Asia.The agency’s regional technology portfolio now includes TI, Worldpay, Ciena, Renishaw, JOS and Grapeshot.
