OMG China appoints new chief talent officer

Omnicom Media Group (OMG) China has appointed Wendy Suen as chief talent officer, OMG China. Based in Shanghai, Suen will lead OMG’s talent ecosystem, including staff recruitment and retention, training and development, compensation and benefits together with driving an agenda for continued change and development of a culture across the group.Suen joins OMG from WPP’s research agency TNS where she served as APAC regional director, talent and expertise. Prior to this position, she held the role of chief talent officer for North Asia at TNS.For over 20 years, Suen has worked in people-orientated roles. She spent nine years in client-facing positions at agencies including Ogilvy, JWT and Y&R before switching to Human Resources. In her 12 years in HR, she has worked as a recruiter, led her family training business and served as national talent director for GroupM China.Doug Pearce, CEO, Omnicom Media Group, Greater China, said: “Wendy will help ensure that we offer our talent the very best we can across every dimension we work in.
