NTUC FairPrice reviews creative duties

Local supermarket chain NTUC FairPrice is currently reviewing its creative agencies, putting incumbent Havas Creative on alert.An NTUC FairPrice confirmed this was taking place and that this was part of the company's "periodic review". He declined to reveal further details until the pitch process is over, however.He added that the review exercise is expected to be completed by mid of the year and that the chosen agency will be required to provide creative services for the retail marketing department across the various retail banners under NTUC FairPrice.Havas Creative (previously called EuroRSCG) also confirmed that the agency would be re-pitching for the business. The account has been with it since the last review in 2008.NTUC FairPrice was originally founded by the labour movement with the aim of moderating the cost of living in Singapore.It is currently the largest supermarket chain in Singapore, owning a network of over 230 outlets including store brands such as FairPrice supermarkets, FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Xpress and Cheers convenience stores.
