PCCW-owned broadcaster now TV will be this year's host broadcaster for the Hong Kong Sevens, in partnership with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union.now TV takes over broadcast rights from last year's host broadcaster TVB. The pay-TV group will air the games on its paid TV channel SPORTS 4 as well as two free channels, accessible only through mobile devices, now Hong Kong and now SPORTS Prime.“We will deliver the game to every screen in Hong Kong, be it TV, tablet or mobile," Janice Lee, MD of PCCW Media Group, said.Meanwhile, Vern Reid, chief executive at the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union, said the mobile-streaming option for watching live games will make the Sevens accessible to all Hongkongers.“We are particularly excited at the opportunity for local viewers to watch the Sevens via mobile apps and to view matches on-demand," Reid said.
