For Toshiba, the campaign titled The REGZA Dash, engages young Malaysians on Facebook and will run from 15 June to 15 July. Another social campaign targeting the beauty conscious consumer, Noisycrayons developed a social gratification contest The Calorie Challenge for Marie France Bodyline fans in Indonesia. The campaign targets Indonesian women aged 25 to 25 years old and will run from 15 June to 15 August.Inmarsat appoints media business directorGlobal mobile satellite communications service company Inmarsat has appointed Martin Turner as its director of media business. His appointment is part of Inmarsat's strategy to understand and keep pace with the needs of the industry. His responsibilities will include driving the development of the company's customer solutions, and hence strengthening its relationship with broadcasters. Turner, who had prior experience as a journalist at BBC, will also bring in strong customer insight to Inmarsat, ensuring the both new and existing solutions will deliver real value and high performance to its media customers.Microsoft partners with six agenciesMicrosoft will be linking up with six advertising agencies, including AKQA, Big Spaceship, Razorfish, Team Detroit, UM and Y&R, to co-develop concepts for its Windows 8 ads-in-apps. The global tech company is looking to create opportunities for ads in its Windows 8 applications, putting people at the centre of the experience. As such, the agencies have been engaged to provide ideation and visualisation of its next-generation ad experiences. Advertise can utilise advertising within the apps to better engage their customers and drive their brand message.Text100 bolsters senior leadershipPreeti Gupta has been appointed deputy managing consultant at Text100 Singapore, adding on to her current role as senior account director. In her role, Gupta will oversee business operations, new business and talent development for the public relations agency, and will report to Phillip Raskin, managing consultant of Text100 Singapore.
