| Requirements: | More than anything, you are passionate about media - the products, the players and how it all works. You cast your discerning eye over every newspaper, magazine, TV network, billboard, radio station and website you come across and think about how it all works & how the stakeholders make money. Media is your life. You are in advertising sales and you love it, even on the bad days. You might earn more money in other industries but as far as you're concerned, there's no better game than media and advertising sales is the best part of the most dynamic and most exciting business in the world. For you, there's nothing better than scrutinising a new prospect, having an intelligent business conversation with the most senior executive, presenting your audience, putting a smart proposal together and closing the deal. In addition to your supreme sales skills, you also have experience in training and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve great things. Other prerequisites include: - At least four years advertising sales experience. - Experience with sales strategy, sales plans and budgets. - Ability to work autonomously with little management supervision. - Excellent communications skills, fluent in written and spoken English. - An ambitious, competitive nature and unyielding confidence that you can be the best. - A methodical, goal-oriented approach and an unyielding pursuit of those goals.
