• Serve as head of public affairs & communications for American Express in ASEAN
• Develop and implement external and internal communications strategies and campaigns to support business goals and enhance American Express' leadership and premium position in the markets
• Responsible for providing communications counsel for business leaders in ASEAN on media opportunities/issues
• Proactive engagement of media and serve as company spokesperson when needed
• Manage public relations agency to maximize media opportunities
• Oversee and manage philanthropic and community programs

• 12 to 15 years of communications experience in corporate or agency environment
• Excellent communications skills - verbal and written
• Strong communications counseling and relationship management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge/skills in all areas of press relations, employee communications, community affairs, philanthropy and crisis management
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to effectively manage PR firm(s) to maximize visibility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
