Role Description:

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the European based senior management team, the Managing Partner will manage operations and drive profitable revenues in line with objectives through proactive business development, project management, implementation and execution, and strategic client management. The Managing Partner will lead, train and develop the team and build, manage and retain key relationships with clients from multinational organisations.

With a core business focusing on strategic marketing, market research, database marketing and CRM, their strategic long-term clients include instantly recognisable multinational retail and FMCG organisations. As a result of their success in the region, an opportunity now exists for a seasoned marketing and business management professional to join as Managing Partner.

Requirements:

Main responsibilities include:

  • Driving profitable business growth according to top and bottom line objectives
  • Building and growing strategic client relationships in new or existing sectors
  • Managing key projects and providing strategic counsel to senior executives
  • Training, developing and retaining a team of specialist marketing consultants
  • Leading and motivating the team in line with the company’s values and culture
  • Raising the profile of the organisation through marketing and PR
  • Being the representative and ambassador of the company in the region

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Minimum 15+ years extensive experience across all major marketing disciplines
  • History of winning clients, growing revenues and managing a profitable business
  • Exceptional business and people management skills
  • Background in consulting, market research and database marketing / CRM
  • Experience in the telecoms, financial services, retail and FMCG sectors
  • Astute business acumen and an entrepreneurial flair
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin a plus
